Region 6 - Farnborough Maha Shivaratri Celebrations

Farnborough Sai Centre observed Maha Shivaratri Celebration in a joyous way on Monday, 20th February 2012 at Tamu Nepalese Community Hall in Mytchett. The programme was scheduled in two phases, from 7.30pm-9.30pm and 11pm-12midnight. About 160 local devotees along with some devotees from different centres and places attended the special bhajans. Former Regional Chair Bahnoon did welcome speech with 3 oms and Gayatri mantra.

After finishing first phase aarati, devotees had an opportunity to offer Panchamrit (Milk) and bilva leaves to the shiva lingam before mahaprasad distribution.

Farnborough Sai Centre presently runs Val Bikas in the local area twice a month. Val Bikas children sang Ganesha bhajan beautifully.

Laksharchana date was announced which is going to be held on Friday, 10th August 2012 by Vadgama Uncle.
