Region 4 - Presentation at an Inter-Faith Meeting Leicester

On 15th of September like minded people came together in a like minded room with like minded ideas. The venue was a library full of conscious spiritual energy, and spirited personalities – uplifted by their love for knowledge, spiritual transcendence, and divinity. Books in each corner were bursting with a story to tell.

The visitors from Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centres of Leicester told some stories and the hosts listened, acute to hear something fascinating. Brahma Kumaris, Christians, Buddhists and other spiritual followers assembled around this camp fire like a story – each leaning forward training their ears to hear something different and learn something new. There were different story tellers but each had the power and confidence in their excerpts to enable the mind to run wild and free, and remember or in the case of the hosts’: imagine the devotees, looking up to Sri Sathya Sai Baba as he, with his arms behind his back gave directions in order to complete the three promises he made to his mother at the age of fourteen. The hosts were astounded with the stories and the video presentation on the life’s mission of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba which was followed by questions and answers. The divine message and life of Sri Sathya Sai was experienced by all through talks given by his youth, his student, and his longstanding devotee.

The hosts asked “ Why more people were not made aware of this wonderful mission and works of Sri Sathya Sai Baba?” They also commented on how wonderful the youth were for they are our future. They were amazed at the work of the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation and how it sustained itself.

A lovely observation for the mind behind this article was when extraordinary minds come together to talk about extraordinary things for extraordinary purposes, their ordinary actions can become extraordinary . Dear readers, if such beings can come together and be inspired by the work of the one who some believe to be God on Earth, and others a mere good soul, why should credit matter? Why should anything matter? Whilst performing good deeds what bad will happen? Trust in him who gives you peace knowing what you are doing is correct, and look for him in every being you serve and dear readers, you shall surely be HIM.
