Bhagavan Creates Statues of Rama, Laxman, Sita and Hanuman

In the early 1970s, Bhagawan took few of the college students to Bandipur Forest ( now renamed as Madhumalai Game Reserve). It was a full moon night. He had arranged for all of us to be taken deep into the forest. Swami chose a place which was situated on the sandy banks of a river bed and asked all of us to sit around Him.

He commanded us to start singing bhajans. He then scribbled somethings on the sand and materialised a couple of talisman from the sand.

Swami then started gathering a small heap of sand in a shape of a mountain of about 12 inches high with his hands. Our hearts were left palpitating not knowing what was in store. Next moment, to our pleasant surprise, He pulled out gold idols of Rama, then Laxman, followed by Sita and finally Hanuman. They were around 10 inches high. I had a SLR camera. He asked me to switch off my camera flash. He then took a torch focussing on the idols and directed me to take a photograph. We were fortunate to witness Bhagawan’s creation closely. These idols were eventually given by Bhagawan to Mr Poornachandra Kamani, who was responsible for building the Poornachandra Auditorium in Prashanthi Nilayam.
