National Easwaramma Day

National Event

SSE children of the U.K. unite to celebrate the Glory of Motherhood and offer their heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Theme: The Five Mothers

Dear Children, Brothers & Sisters
Om Sri Sai Ram!

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to invite you to the National Easwaramma Day Celebrations which will be held on Saturday 5th May 2012. This is an opportunity for our children, parents, teachers and devotees to come together from across the United Kingdom to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Divine Mother Sai and honour 'The Five Mothers'.

Swami has dedicated Easwaramma Day as Children's Day the world over. It is a day when we celebrate the 'Glory of Motherhood' and express our gratitude. Our beloved Swami has often told us that we should love, honour and respect our parents. He says "Children should revere their parents, who account for their physical existence. But they should realize what they owe to God, who is the basis of all life. Recognizing this double obligation - to the mothers and to the Divine - they should redeem their lives by purposeful living"

The programme on the day will include prayers, group devotional songs, pledge of gratitude by the children, interactive sessions for children, youth and adults, children's presentations, exhibition by the Sai Youth and other offerings. Our special guest Sri Sanjay Sahni (Director, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Brindavan Campus, India) will be sharing with us his experiences with Bhagawan and lessons learnt at the Divine Lotus Feet.

Let us come together to offer our Love and Gratitude to our Loving Mother Sai on this sacred occasion.
